Firm up Those Saggy Breasts!

As women age they often suffer from saggy breasts, another common cause of this is pregnancy. Usually women who have small breasts don’t really have too many issues with saggy or droopy breasts. This condition seems to hit women who have larger breasts to begin with.

If you want to increase and enhance the size of your breasts because they have gone saggy you will need to work on your pectoral muscles. These are the muscles which sit directly under your breasts. By exercising your pecs these muscles will strengthen and then push up your breasts to make them look larger and firmer.  This method could also be referred to as a breast lift!

The best exercises for improving your pecs include doing incline presses. These are normally done on a low bench but can be done by lying on your back. Use a set of light dumbbells, soup cans will work as well, and lie on your back. Hold the weights about an inch apart above your body with your palms facing forwards. The exercise consists of bending your elbows to lower the weight to your side and then stopping. Push the weight back up above your body. Repeat this about 10 to 12 times as one set. As you improve you can increase the number of sets you perform.

You can work your inner chest area by reversing the above exercise and lying face down on a bench.  Aim to do the same number of repetitions as you did when lying on your back.

Another great exercise that will work the middle section of your pectoral muscles is the good old push up. These can be difficult to do but a modified version works just as well. You can do a push up from your knees, against the wall or by using some stairs. Your hands should be placed shoulder width apart and you want to keep your back flat. Then lower yourself by bending your elbows until your chest is parallel to the floor or wall. Push back up and repeat. Aim for 12 repetitions at one time.

The next exercise involves using one dumbbell or a kettlebell or even a heavy ball. Lie on your back and extend your arms over your head while holding the weight. Bring your arms into an upright position over your head and hold for one or two seconds, then repeat. Repeat as many times as possible. Use a light weight at first and increase when this becomes too light.

By doing these exercises you can easily firm up those saggy breasts in as little as two weeks. Aim to perform these at least 3 times a week. As well as enhancing your breasts you will be increasing your upper body strength at the same time.
