A woman’s body is so complex and being in tune with your body is very important. It is also extremely helpful to notice any changes that occur in your body. A prime example of this is noticing changes in your breasts and taking action. Many women can seek early treatment for the signs of breast cancer just by knowing when to check their breasts and by noticing changes.
The earlier you detect an uncommon change the quicker you can seek medical advice, if necessary.
This does not just apply to physical changes in your body, it can apply to mental changes as well. Depression and stress are both diseases with the potential of having terrible consequences.
By knowing that you are over stressed you can take action. There are many ways to de-stress and one good way is to share that you are stressed out with your spouse, family, close friends and even your boss if your stress is work related.
You may find that when you get home after work you don’t have time for everything. You get home and help with dinner or pick up the kids. Then after dinner there are the dishes to do, homework to help with and possibly household chores to do. Who really has time for all that?
By asking for help you may be surprised at what you will receive. Your spouse may be unaware of how stressed out you are feeling. You can set up a time to have to yourself by making time for a bubble bath or going for a massage. Someone in your family is bound to offer help when they understand your situation.
If you let your feelings and emotions get the better of you, you will quickly find yourself in lots of trouble. Your health will suffer and you may even end up overeating to compensate for your feelings.
By taking action and just acknowledging that you are having problems is a huge step. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or support. You may be surprised at just who steps up to the gate for you. If you have kids get them involved in taking care of the house, cooking dinner and helping with younger children.
You always want to be aware of the changes that are going on both physically in your body and mentally. You should get into the habit of doing monthly breast examinations and as soon as you notice changes get them looked at.
While the changes you notice may not always be lumps they could be noticing that your breasts are saggy or have gotten smaller. No matter what the changes are you can take steps to deal with anything that is thrown at you.
