Cosmetic surgery is a popular option for those who are looking at breast enlargement procedures. The promotional and marketing campaigns of cosmetic surgery clinics are just over the top attractive with breast augmentation before and after pictures of those who have successfully undergone breast enlargement surgeries. What these advertising materials do not tell you is that these surgeries are not for everyone. There are dangerous side effects to having these kinds of surgeries. Before you even consider going through surgery just to get your breasts one or two cups bigger, you should research on what possible side effects could happen to you. You should also find out what other costs aside from surgical costs you are likely to incur after the surgery. These surgeries are not cheap. They cost thousands of dollars and more if you have to go back to have it fixed or repaired at some future time.

Naturally enhancing your breasts is a cheaper yet safer way of breast enlargement. There are no side effects and the costs are significantly lower than going to surgical clinics when you choose to try and make your breasts bigger the natural way. The side effects of making your breasts bigger through surgical means could be dangerous. It could also cost you more money than you would have wanted to spend. Surgical procedures of breast enlargement entails putting in implants underneath the breast tissues. Such implants are the ones that can cause dangerous side effects.

Those who have saline-filled implants have been found to require another operation within five years of having their implants put in. About 25% of these surgery patients had to come in for a second operation to either replace their implants or to remove them. There are also those that have suffered from the effects of the fluids in the implants leaking into their breast tissue because of ruptures. These ruptures could result from blunt-force trauma or injury to the breast usually due to accidents. These implants are also known to develop tiny cracks in their shells over time. The fluids inside the implants seep through the cracks and into the breast tissue. When this happens, another surgery would be required to remove the damaged implants.

Painful growths can also result from such implants. These growths are called capsular contracture. These are capsular growths that form from fibrous scar tissue that build up over time and constricts the implant. The only way to remedy such adverse side effects is to go for a surgery to remove the implant and the capsular growth. Implant removal is also necessary when infections develop from the surgery. Severe implant infection often requires the removal of the implant. Only after six months of the initial implant removal can anyone who has had such a surgery have new implants put back in. Internal bleeding causing painful hemotoma and infections can also result in pain in the breast area requiring the subsequent removal of the implants.

Such side effects can be avoided with natural means of making the breasts bigger. Natural means are not always quick to show results but could prove to be effective when done right. Truth be told, slow but sure natural methods such as massages and herbal medications are far safer than any one of these surgical means of breast enlargement.
